Paterson Hall

Paterson Hall is named after Norman Paterson, one of Canada’s longest serving senators whose generous financial support helped to develop Carleton’s world-renowned programs in international affairs.
Here you’ll find the College of Humanities, the Department of History, the Department of Philosophy, the Institute for African Studies, the CAEL Office and the School of Linguistics and Language Studies.
A branch of the Bank of Nova Scotia is located on the lower level.
