Registration is now open!
This symposium will take place on Wednesday, June 13th, 2012 and is dedicated to sharing and inspiring diversity of teaching practices at Carleton. The Teaching and Learning Symposium will be an annual event bringing in world-renowned educators and speakers along with giving Carleton’s faculty and instructors a forum to share ideas and engage in the development of their teaching excellence. Joining us for the Teaching and Learning Symposium will be Dr. Eric Mazur, of Harvard University, who will present on two topics throughout the day.
All faculty members and contract instructors were invited to share their best practices, celebrate accomplishments, discuss new pedagogy, and explore themes of mutual interest in a community of educators dedicated to enriching the learning experience on campus. Presentations will include highlighting current innovative teaching practices, building on educational research, incorporating educational technology into your teaching, using signature pedagogies and creative uses of assessments and evaluations.
To register please click here if you are internal to Carleton (faculty member, contract instructor, TA or student). If you are not affiliated with Carleton University please click here to register and to fill out the payment form.
