Design and operation tools/process for large scale fluidized bed systems for electricity generation; industrial scale drying system for crop material; industrial scale fluidized bed gasifiers for bio-mass utilization; mathematical models for the simulation of two-phase turbulent reactive/non-reactive systems; thermo-fluids, two-phase flow systems; turbulence modeling; non-intrusive measurement systems; fluidized beds: hydrodynamics and combustion, hydrodynamics of aggregate formation, cyclone modeling, bio-mass gasification, natural gas processing.
