Emergency Notification System test January 31st
University Safety will be conducting another test of Carleton’s Emergency Notification System (ENS) on Tuesday January 31st. During this time, you may notice a desktop alert message appear on classroom computers. If so, please follow the prompts to complete the test and resume access to the original computer desktop.

Equipment Use In Electronic Classrooms
Effective January 2nd, Classroom Technology Support will be changing the means by which faculty and students access electronic equipment in classrooms on evenings and weekends. Faculty Orientation for Electronic Classroom Use
Once again, IMS will be offering orientation sessions for faculty teaching in Electronic Classrooms next term. If you are new to this technology or would simply like a refresher, please contact Classroom Technology Support at extension 3815 or drop by our office in D283 Loeb. Sessions will be offered from December 7-22 between 10am and 4pm.
Lecture Capture
Classroom Technology Support is pleased to introduce an enhancement to the teaching technology already available in Electronic Classrooms on campus. Starting this Fall, we will be piloting a Lecture Capture software called Camtasia Relay which will record class sessions for student playback at a later time.
