Note: If you are leaving Canada for summer brek and plan on returning for school in September, you must have a valid Study Permit and TRV (where applicable) in order to re-enter Canada. Be sure to check your documentation before you leave to ensure its validity.
This section is designed to be a resource for international students currently in Canada and those preparing to come to Canada.
A Note about Permanent Residency
It is the ISSO’s policy not to provide advice to students or graduates on Permanent Residency applications. The PR Process is outside of our scope of expertise and is normally completed in the post-graduation phase. We do endeavor to have experts present on this topic at least once a year and encourage interested students to research the process on the CIC website where you can download a comprehensive guide.
