The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is committed to serve society through pioneering and integrated teaching and research activities in an environment that emphasizes collegiality, professionalism and integrity. The Department offers several undergraduate and graduate programs of innovative curricula that are tailored for the training of our students in the fields of mechanical, aerospace, sustainable energy, and biomedical engineering in an interdisciplinary setting. A number of our degree programs are offered in partnership with Engineering Departments at Carleton University and the University of Ottawa. The world-class research activities of our faculty members, involving collaborations with other academic departments, government research laboratories and many sectors of industry provide students with advanced training opportunities through a rich selection of research topics.
