Home / Centre for Trade Policy and Law (CTPL)

The Centre for Trade Policy and Law (CTPL) is a joint unit of NPSIA at Carleton University and the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa with funding from the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. It has a mandate to promote teaching and research in trade policy and law; to promote greater understanding of trade policy issues and to encourage the development of trade policy professionals. Assistantships are offered each year to graduate students doing research on related topics. The work of CTPL is of particular importance to NPSIA students enrolled in the trade policy concentration.
