Campus 2 Career Coming in March!

Home / Your Record / Transcript

You can now submit Transcript requests through Carleton Central. This online request system replaces our old paper based system and is a faster, easier, way to get the documents you need.

Some of the advantages of online submission are:

  • Quicker turnaround time, which means your request will be completed faster
  • In most cases, documents will be available within 2 business days of being printed
  • MyCarleton (@connect) email notification sent once your document is printed
  • Status of your request can be tracked online through Carleton Central
  • No need to fax, email, or fill out a form at the Registrar’s Office
  • Special instructions for the mailing or pick up of your document can be submitted with your request

Note: Under certain circumstances, a single copy of a transcript may be provided at our counter during regular business hours (8:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday).  Please contact us for further information.

Online Request for Transcripts

Once you have logged in to Carleton Central, select “Request a Transcript or Certificate of Enrolment” from the “Student Online Applications” section of the Main Menu. From there you will given direction on how to request your document. After you have submitted your request you can return to this page to see the status of your order.

Transcripts will not be issued if the student has an outstanding account with the University. Transcripts can be released for in person pick-up by a third party only if you have provided the full name of that third party in your Carleton Central Transcript request. Please ensure that the third party you have elected brings appropriate photo identification.

For information on how to access Carleton Central, please click here.

Alternate Methods of Transcript Request

There are alternate methods of transcript request that can be used in instances when you do not have access to Carleton Central. Please keep in mind that by using these methods you will generally have to wait longer for your transcript request to be processed. In all cases the preferred method of transcript request is through Carleton Central.

Please note: we do not fax transcripts to third parties. You must either pick up your transcript at the Registrar’s Office or request that it be mailed.
